I had a dog named Sooner - that dog hated rabbits. He was the best darned rabbit dog I ever had - boy, I loved that dog, and boy, did he hate rabbits.

Well, Sooner died, and gosh, he was such a good dog, that I had some gloves made from his hide - they were fine gloves, nice and warm. I went hunting one day, and I had those gloves with me. Well, I stopped for a snack, and I took those gloves off and put them on a stump.

A rabbit ran past me, and I didn't have my rifle in my hand, or I would have shot it. But that didn't matter, because wouldn't you know it, those gloves jumped right off that stump and choked that rabbit!
