When they hold council meetings, here in the Frankfort Town Hall, I wonder where they find room to swing the gavel?

IN CUBA, Missouri, I found the nicest little motel. Called the Wagon Wheel, this place has been in the family for decades, and is neat and clean. The owner refuses to raise her rates, and you can still get a nice room for about 15 bucks. Not bad, for Cuba -- and you don't have to fly to Canada to get here.

Two once competiting gas stations on Rte. 19 in Ellaville, a small town just north of Americus, Georgia. We are fortunate that the apathy which allowed these buildings to be abandoned also won't encourage their destruction and replacement. Hang in there, guys.

THE HEADquarters for Longaberger Basket Company, of course. It's located somewhere east of Columbus, Ohio, and it's kind of plopped out in the middle of a field, of course.
