I spent a few weeks in Teriot, Louisiana, and rode each day up 315 to Houma. It is a beautiful ride, through the rural, lazy villages of Dularge, Crozier and Mulbery, and I enjoyed every mile. The first 5 photos in this album are from that ride.

NEAR THE DOLLAR General Store.

The Dularge School.

A sugarcane field near Crozier.

A sensible, modest shack on a pretty field.

YOU JUST CAN'T GET THIS view when you buy a fancy-schmancy house in one of those new cookie-cutter housing developments.

I TOOK THIS somewhere in Louisiana, or maybe it was Mississippi or Alabama -- what do you care?
