Greetings from HAWAII!

November 12 - 22, 1999

(L-R) The Manoa Falls, near Honolulu, are beautiful, even when there is very little water, as it was when I hiked for an hour to see it. The air was chilly, and the rocks were treacherous, but some tourists couldn't resist the photo-op of standing under a waterfall. ::: A Hawaiian canoe. ::: I love these trees, whatever their names - after the pods ripen and harden, the peas rattle around and sound beautiful in the wind. ::: I drove through the rural area of Waimanalo and saw ramshackle houses and farms with some of the most astounding views - these are fortunate people, indeed.

But, could I live there? - Just try stopping me.
