There's plenty of water in Maryland. Between the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, the state is nearly a penninsula, or two penninsulas, for that matter. At top, left, is a marina in Annapolis, in the center is a tugboat in Baltimore Harbor, at bottom, right is the WWII memorial overlooking Annapolis, and at left is the Police Station at Fells Point.

Coming of Ages Along the Potomac

Over seventy years ago, Bodie Turner worked the C & O Canal and he is one of the last mule skinners alive to tell about it. Now one of our country's most interesting National Parks, the C & O Canal was destined to fail before it opened.
